Friends After Diagnosis

Our Mission

Friends After Diagnosis is a 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of women diagnosed with cancer. It is our hope and vision to see that all women diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones have lives filled with wisdom, wellness, fellowship, and peace.

Our Vision

To that end, we offer support groups, wellness programs, personal services, events, and networking to help survivors feel connected and secure in a community that truly cares. Our inclusive community is diverse, welcoming all ages, stages of life, and belief systems without question.

November is

Pancreatic, Lung & Stomach Awareness Month

November is Pancreatic, Lung, and Stomach Cancer Awareness Month, a time to highlight the impact of these devastating cancers and support those affected. Each year, thousands face life-altering diagnoses, with pancreatic, lung, and stomach cancers among the most challenging to detect early and treat effectively. Awareness efforts during this month focus on increasing education about symptoms, encouraging early detection, and supporting research advancements. Whether through sharing information, contributing to research, or supporting patients and their families, we can all play a role in fighting these diseases and fostering hope for those impacted.

We care
with compassion

Feelings of isolation after a cancer diagnosis are common, but giving in to those feelings can keep the body from generating the healing energy it needs. In Friends After Diagnosis, survivors help each other, and it’s become an essential part of the cancer care community on the Treasure Coast.
