I’m a seven-year breast cancer survivor and I was introduced to Friends After Diagnosis in 2019. They welcomed me with open arms. Today, I continue to be an active participant and volunteer. There is always something we learn from each other on this journey called life.

At Friends After Diagnosis, we’re here for each other.

Jamie Burger

I’m so glad to have a circle of friends who share through support meetings and other activities offered through Friends After Diagnosis. I am a part of a wonderful organization and I really enjoy being at Friendship House.

Delores Penn

I attended my first Friends After Diagnosis support meeting 10 years ago. The support, friendships, and sharing of experiences have helped me cope with all aspects of my cancer diagnosis. I’ve been able to offer hope and receive hope which has been vital in getting through every aspect of my journey. I’ve learned from others and experienced a greater quality of life by being a part of FAD!
